Controlling Operation Downtown: Removals
Controlling Operation Marion: Pipe Work
Controlling Operation Bartlett: Concrete Pavement
Fraction of Day Workable: 10/10
Hi 68 Lo 45
Weather AM Partly Cloudy, PM Partly Cloudy

In the morning Woodruff had a crew on Marian and Michigan installing structures on Michigan south of Marian. In the afternoon, Woodruff moved to Main and placed water main pipe on the west side just north of Madison St.

Rieth-Riley had a concrete crew which poured the east bound lanes of the Bartlett roundabout for Northbound traffic. The outside lane of northbound traffic was also poured, connecting Michigan northbound with Bartlett eastbound. Colored concrete was poured for the crosswalk that crosses Bartlett on the west side of the roundabout. Forms were then set for continuing pouring of northbound lanes.

Indiana Earth continued grading on Marian.  No removal crews were observed on Main or St. Joseph south of LaSalle. They also had a crew working on Main between Bronson and South Street working on subgrade treatment. They had a third crew working on removals on Michigan at the intersection of Indiana and Calvert.

An AEP duct bank was encountered on Main St. between Marian and Madison, Line PR-A at Sta. 18+00 to 19+00. The duct is 4 inches into the new asphalt. Dave Garcia, Roger Nawrot, and Mike Guizik were on site evaluating options. Rieth-Riley received a field order to have JPR stake the duct bank, and Thursday morning (6/9) Robert Henry will begin taking the top 6" off the duct bank. This should allow partial subgrade and pavement to be placed.

Indiana Earth uncovered a waterline between Bronson and South Street. Bob Kroll will be on site tomorrow to verify.
