The Weeks up Coming
Events/Schedule
1.
Traffic Closure Updates
A. Bronson and South Street
hope to have South Street open mid next week. Bronson may be longer due to
traffic poles.
B. Colfax/Jefferson/Washington/Wayne.
Colfax open today. Close Jefferson today open Saturday. Close Wayne Monday and
open Wednesday. Will try to coordinate with Robert Henry on closing Wayne, do
not think Robert Henry and Reith riley can both have Wayne closed at the same
time due to the parking garage entrance on Wayne, because Reith Riley has the
entrance to the garage closed on Main Street.
Utility Relocation Issues:
AEP:
Robert Henry:
1.
Status: Robert Henry is working on Michigan
between Wayne and western. The Milling on South half of Washington next week
when Reith riley is working on Michigan. Wayne Street will need to be open next
Saturday for the color run and Colfax and Jefferson for the Torch run. Robert
Henry will have to push the work on Wayne back.
2.
Vault at Southeast Corner of Monroe and Main.
This is not an AEP Vault it is a City Vault with electric and fiber in it.
Looked at it with Roger and the ramps will have to be moved and the curb
redone.
NIPSCO/InfraSource:
Comcast:
AT&T: 1. Alley on
Main between Jefferson and Wayne: Tony talked with Ferguson and he expects the
duct bank to be lowered at the first of next week. The duct bank at the corner
of Jefferson and Main has not went to bid yet. We will move the curb a couple of
feet to miss the duct bank for now.
Water Dept. I will look into the irrigation on Saint joe so the
City knows how the water will feed the islands.
Transpo: Concerns over side street closures and
when they are happening.
Metronet: Reith riley
asked to have Metro net look at the manhole at the South west corner of Wayne
and Main.
Utilities Q/A
INDOT: Questions: When will the detour be lifted, I would
like to keep it up until around the 1st of Nov. for Main street.
Stakeholder Questions:
Larry asked about the No parking on Lafayette. That was
placed by the city and Corbett will contact Ed to get it removed.
JMS will do the sewer cut on Washington the week of the 10th
unless they are told differently. The big storm structure that sets at Main and
Washington still needs set, this work will require coordination with Woodruff.
