Reith Riel had a concrete crew pouring curb from LaSalle to Colfax on the east side. A second crew worked on side walk from Colfax to LaSalle East side. A third crew worked on side walk on the east side of main from Jefferson to Wayne. A fourth crew worked on sidewalk ramps on the south west corner of Jefferson and Main.

A Reith Riley prep crew worked on setting pave drain from LaSalle to Colfax on the west side of the road. A second crew prepped for side walk on the east side of the road from Wayne to Western on the east side.

Indiana earth worked on removals at the intersection of Indiana and Michigan and Calvert and Michigan. A second crew worked on prepping grade for curb from Colfax to Washington. They also did pavement removal at Jefferson for Woodruff.

Woodruff did pipe work on Main Street from Jefferson to Washington on the east side of the road.

Wisco was working on Main and Marion South East Quad.

1.       Traffic Closure Updates
A.       Bronson and South Street hope to have South Street open mid next week. Bronson may be longer due to traffic poles.
B.       Colfax/Jefferson/Washington/Wayne. Colfax open today. Close Jefferson today open Saturday. Close Wayne Monday and open Wednesday. Will try to coordinate with Robert Henry on closing Wayne, do not think Robert Henry and Reith riley can both have Wayne closed at the same time due to the parking garage entrance on Wayne, because Reith Riley has the entrance to the garage closed on Main Street.


Utility Relocation Issues:
AEP:  

Robert Henry: 
1.       Status: Robert Henry is working on Michigan between Wayne and western. The Milling on South half of Washington next week when Reith riley is working on Michigan. Wayne Street will need to be open next Saturday for the color run and Colfax and Jefferson for the Torch run. Robert Henry will have to push the work on Wayne back.
2.       Vault at Southeast Corner of Monroe and Main. This is not an AEP Vault it is a City Vault with electric and fiber in it. Looked at it with Roger and the ramps will have to be moved and the curb redone.

Comcast: 

                AT&T:      1. Alley on Main between Jefferson and Wayne: Tony talked with Ferguson and he expects the duct bank to be lowered at the first of next week. The duct bank at the corner of Jefferson and Main has not went to bid yet. We will move the curb a couple of feet to miss the duct bank for now.

Water Dept. I will look into the irrigation on Saint joe so the City knows how the water will feed the islands.

Transpo:      Concerns over side street closures and when they are happening.
               
Metronet:     Reith riley asked to have Metro net look at the manhole at the South west corner of Wayne and Main.
                 

Utilities Q/A

INDOT: Questions:    When will the detour be lifted, I would like to keep it up until around the 1st of Nov. for Main street.

Stakeholder Questions:
Larry asked about the No parking on Lafayette. That was placed by the city and Corbett will contact Ed to get it removed.

JMS will do the sewer cut on Washington the week of the 10th unless they are told differently. The big storm structure that sets at Main and Washington still needs set, this work will require coordination with Woodruff.

1           Upcoming work for the week
                                Michigan will be paved from Ewing to Bronson. They will concentrate on Main Street to complete drainage structures, curb and header to allow Main Street to be paved the following week. They will also do the ramps on Indiana and Michigan and work at Bronson and South Street. Along with working on the traffic signals on Main street.

2           Traffic/Barrels on Main street
Main street will be barreled off to one lane and remain one lane until it is converted to two way traffic and only made two lanes south for Notre dame football games.

3           Cross street closures
Cross streets, closures need to be minimized, subs closing side streets with out permission needs to stop.
4           Corner of LaSalle and Main
The plans were given to Reith Riley yesterday.
5           Cross Walks
Need to be kept up and functioning while no work is being conducted at that intersection at that time.
6           Hawk signal Activation
The Hawk signal will be turned on as soon as the Signs are placed a temporary stop bar will need to be placed and the message board changed to say Fire station traffic signal activated.
7           Signs/ status       
Have been ordered and should be in production.
8           Paver band change order
Still needs to come from Structure Point
            9       Oct. 15 expectations  
                                1 Angela and North Shore
                                                North Shore pucks will be placed on the 13th , they will try to have Angel done by the 15th.
                                2 All Pavement Markings downtown
                                                Must be placed on Main Street between Marion and Chippewa and on Michigan between Chippewa and Sample and Marion and Angela  

9           Main to Bronson Guardrail/sidewalk
The guardrail is being redesigned and should be done to the contractor today.
10       Overhead sign on Main south of LaSalle in bike path.
Main Street will be closed at night for an hour tentatively on the 6th to do this work.

                Reith riley had questions as to the number of bike racks and locations in the downtown are Mike Divita will be looking into this.

City Concerns/Questions:

                Streetscape will need to be coordinated with the Majority Builders on Michigan. Reith Riley will need fire hydrants locations and elevations.

Reith Riley had two concrete crews pouring side walk on Main Street between Jefferson and Wayne and Colfax and Washington on the east side. A third crew worked on the sidewalk on Marion street east of Michigan.

Reith Riley had a prep crew working on setting pave drain on the west side of Main between Colfax and LaSalle. a second crew worked on prepping sidewalk on the east side of Main between Wayne and Western.

Pemberton Davis worked on pushing conduit on the east side of main from Wayne to Jefferson at various locations. they also worked on Bronson Street.

Reith riley had an Asphalt crew work on patching back Colfax and Marion east of Michigan.

Indiana Earth worked on removals from Western to Wayne on the east side of Main. they also worked on rough grading from Colfax to Washington.

Reith Riley's prep crew worked on setting tree grates from LaSalle to Washington on the west side of Main a second crew worked on prepping Colfax to the east and curb line area from LaSalle to Colfax on the East.

Pemberton Davis worked on the east side of Washington and Main and the intersection of South Street and Main.

Wisco worked on Marion on the south side between Main and Mich.

Reith Riley Had 3 concrete crews working on the West side of Main Street. at the intersection of Colfax, Jefferson and Washington. Pouring the curbs and ramps. A fourth crew worked on the driveway approach at the ambulance building on Marion.

Reith Riley had a prep crew working on setting tree boxes on the west side of Main. They had a second crew preping for sidewalk on the east side of Main between Jefferson and Washington. They had a third crew placing brick North of LaSalle on the west side of Main.

Woodruff worked on the structures at the intersection of Colfax and Main on the East side.

Pemberton Davis worked at the intersection of South and Main. the light was turned off to allow for the work since it is closed to the east and west.

Indiana earth worked on removals on the Jefferson to the east and west of Main. They worked on Bartlett street and Marion doing miscellaneous work grading.

Reith Riley worked on pouring sidewalk on the east side of Main Street between Washington and Colfax. They had a second crew work on pouring cycle track on the west side of Main Street between Jefferson and Washington. A third crew worked on pouring cycle track between Washington and Colfax on the west side of Main. A fourth crew poured curb at intersections at various locations between Colfax and Washington curb areas for ramp areas.

Reith Riley had a prep crew working on setting tree grates on the west side of Main Street between Western and Jefferson.

Indiana Earth worked on removals on the east side of Main Street from Wayne to Western and Wayne to Jefferson. A second crew worked on prepping the Ambulance drives on the south side of Marion East of Michigan. A third crew worked on grading out the Bronson to South Street are on Main Street.

C-Tech was on site to set guard rail on the Main Street area between South and Bronson Street. They left after looking at the area and determining that the wrong type of endtreatment was designed for the median area. They will send their recommendations to me and i will forward it on to Structure Point.

Wisco was on site working on the North East and North West quads of Main and Michigan.

Slussers was on site doing the plantings in the Marion round about.

Pemberton Davis worked on the intersections of Main and Wayne and Main and Colfax.

MCI was on site and adjusted hand holes on the west side of various locations.

Woodruff was on site and set structures at the intersection of Main and Colfax.

Reith Riley had a concrete crew pouring the bicycle track from Jefferson to Wayne on the west side of Main. They had a second crew working on bicycle track from Colfax to LaSalle on the West side of Main. They also worked on the south west ramp of LaSalle and Main. A third concrete crew worked on the west side of main on side walk and Bicycle track between Colfax and Washington.

Reith Riley had a prep crew working on fine grading the ramps on the west side of Main at Colfax and Main and Jefferson and Main. They had a second crew placing pavers on Main between Lasalle and Madison and they also placed 8's between Washington and Colfax on the west side of Main.

Indiana Earth worked on removals on Main Street between Jefferson and Wayne on the east side of the road.
They had a second crew working on rough grading the east side of Main Street between South and Bronson and Bronson street east of Main.

Pemberton Davis worked at the intersection of Main and Bronson east side. They also worked at the intersection of Main and Washington pushing conduit. Colfax and Main setting tesco cabinet.

Wisco worked on the South west intersection of Main and Marion.

Slussers worked on the Bartlett intersection plantings.

Roger, Josh, Tony and Denis Bunch from AT@T met at the intersection of Jefferson and Main to go over how the AT@T duct Bank lines are very shallow and are covered with Concrete. Denis will get the concrete removed, that will take a month. Tony will get JPR to do some surveying to see if we can work around it .

A.       Bronson and South Street- Work will continue in this area of Main Street. Reith Riley will try to get South Street open as soon as possible to allow Robert Henry to close Monroe and get that work done.
B.       Colfax/Jefferson/Washington/Wayne- These streets will be closed one at a time to the east of Main as pipe work requires. The plan is to start from the North and working to the South and only have one closed at a time.


Utility Relocation Issues:

1.       Status- They are working on Michigan street south of Wayne. They cant complete their work on Main until South street is reopened.
2.       Vault at South West Corner of Monroe and Main-Robert Henry will look at the vault and adjust it when possible.

                AT&T:      1. Alley on Main between Jefferson and Wayne- AT@T will let a contract to take the concrete down off the top of the conduit. I will meet with Denis bunch over the AT@T duck bank on the east side of Main Street between Jefferson and Colfax.

Water Dept- The water metering of the Marion and Michigan intersection Josh will set up a meeting with Wisco and get this worked out.

Transpo:     1. Center Curb on Main – Roger will check to see if the guardrail can be shortened; if it cannot be shortened, the curb will stay at its current location.
               
Metronet:     Metronet was removing the WIFI off the traffic signals on Main Street today.

1.       The area behind the Bartlett garage area lacking topsoil and sod.
2.       On Michigan a manhole south of Navarre on the west side in the sidewalk.
3.       The crosswalk signs at Bartlett/ Pemberton Davis is working on that they need a new power supply pack.
4.       The intersection of Bartlett and Main getting the stop sign and street light fixed on the North West corner.
5.       Type three barricades and signs left on Bartlett Street.
6.       No Parking signs still up on Lafayette
7.       He also had concerns over the safety of people cross Marion Street near the roundabout.

Reith riley plans to concentrate on Main Street east side drainage, curb and removals. West side Bike path, streetlights and cross walks. On Main Street between Bronson and south guardrail, sealing joints, sidewalk and drives
2           Hawk signal Activation
Once the signs are placed, temporary stop bar are placed and the Hawk signals are all placed facing south, the message board is changed. The hawk signal can be activated and Broadway traffic signal terminated.
3           Cross Walks
Reith Riley needs to keep cross walks in working order for cross traffic.
4           Corner of LaSalle/ Mich
Still waiting on structure point redesign.
5           Signs/ status        
The ID signs still need to be redesigned for Bartlett and Marion, if the redesign is not completed by the end of the workday. Pemberton Davis is directed to order the signs and they will be replaced with the proper signs at a later date.

Is still in Structure Points hands
7           Lighting
Needs to be in place in the downtown areas west side of main before the lights on the east side are removed.
8           Oct. 15 expectations
To have everything done from curb to curb on Main street, sidewalk and crosswalks in a condition pedestrians can use. Lighting in such a fashion that it is safe for pedestrians.  
9           Main to Bronson Guardrail/sidewalk
This area will be done per plan.
10       Overhead sign on Main south of LaSalle in bike path.
The Monotube needs to be removed south of LaSalle on Main Street.

A meeting will be set up to discuss the flipping of traffic signal poles on Main Street.

City Concerns/Questions:

Angela Blvd and Michigan, North Shore and Michigan, when will the actuation be installed. This will take a while due to the detector housings have been milled off at Angela and the pucks are on order for North Shore.

Reith Riley had a crew pouring concrete bicycle track from Western to Jefferson on the west side of Main. A second crew poured side walk on the east side of main from Colfax to Washington. they also worked on bicycle track from Colfax to LaSalle on the west side of Main. A third crew worked on pouring curb and Miscellanies pieces from Colfax to Washington. 

A Reith Riley prep crew worked on grading for Bicycle track on the west side from Wayne to Colfax. A second crew worked on grading from Colfax to Jefferson on the east side of the road. A third crew worked on placing bicycle pavers from Marion to Madison on the west side of Main.

Indiana earth had a crew working on rough grading out the west side for bicycle track from Wayne to Colfax. they had a second crew working on removals from Jefferson to Wayne on the east side.

Pemberton Davis worked on the lighting at the round about at Marion. they worked on the Hawk signal at the fire station. They poured cabinet and tesco bases at Western Wayne and Colfax. 

Wisco was on site working on the South East quad of Marion and Michigan.

Reith Riley had a concrete crew work on placing curb on Main Street and Bronson to the east of Main Street. They had a second crew work on pouring bicycle track from Western North to the AT@T building. They then went an poured a drive just North of Wayne on the West side of Main. A third crew poured drive ways and curb between Washington and Colfax on Main. A Fourth crew poured side walk on the east side of Main between LaSalle and Colfax.

Reith Rileys prep crew worked on grading out the paver band from Colfax to LaSalle on the west side of the road. A second crew worked on setting the paver band brick from Madison to Marion on Main Street.

Pemberton Davis is working on the intersection of Colfax and Michigan. They are also working on the Hawk signal at the fire station on Michigan.

Indiana earth is working on removals on the east side of Main St from Washington to Wayne Street. They have a second crew working on rough grading the west side of Main behind the curb from Western to Jefferson.
