Controlling Operation: Removals
Fraction of Day Workable: 10/10
Hi 78 Lo 53
Weather AM Sunny PM Sunny

Reith-Reilly had a concrete crew pouring the sidewalk on the north side of Bartlett between Michigan and Main St. The specified increase in grade between the north edge of the street and the south edge of the sidewalk was not achieved, resulting in too large of a grade increase required between the north edge of the sidewalk and the adjacent parking lot. Various solutions are being considered, including casting a curb on the north side of the side walk.

Woodruff completed placement of the structures on the east side of Michigan south of Bartlett. Structure 839B, in the center of Michigan St. south of Bartlett, has not been placed. Once this structure is placed, the pipe spanning Michigan south of Bartlett can be placed and all storm structures in the Bartlett section will be complete.

Indiana Earth  continued removals on Marian and Michigan. All sidewalks have been removed on Michigan from Navarre to Marian. Sidewalk on the west side of Michigan was removed between Marian and Madison.
Marian removals extend all the way to Main St., and removals along Line PR-A (southwest from the intersection of Marian and Michigan towards Main) have reached the south side of the Scottish Rite. The two farthest lanes east remained closed between Marian and LaSalle, but removals did not extend farther south than Sta. 18+00 Line PR-A. Indiana Earth also began grading the area for the Bartlett roundabout.

Pemberton Davis was pouring concrete foundations for street lights on the east side of Michigan at Bartlett.

Drawings were submitted to State Barricade in the morning with requested additions and changes to the MOT around Memorial Hospital. Changes are expected to be implemented Tuesday morning (5/24). Requested snow fencing for pedestrian crosswalks through construction zones have not yet been provided.

Infrasource appears to have thier work completed on Main street between Marion and LaSalle.
