Woodruff finished placing structures on Phase 1 of Bartlett Street. All of Phase one is complete except for the outfall at the River. This can not be completed until the wavier to enter the river is received.
Reith Riley completed the ramps on the west side of Michigan St between Bartlett and Angela Boulevard.
Indian Earth worked on removals on the East side of Michigan between Angela Boulevard and Bartlett Street.
Pemberton Davis worked on hand holes on Michigan Road at Cavalry and Indiana.
The weekly Progress meeting was held see the meeting miutes below.
Met with Ed Glekler and Pemberton Davis to go over the work being preformed on Division B.

Started with Introductions
Reith Riley then gave an over view of the coming work. Reith
Riley plans on placing the 20 inch water line relocation at Bartlett Street.
This work will cause traffic on Michigan to be reduced to 1 lane in each
direction and Bartlett Street will be closed to the West and will only allow
traffic heading north to turn right. Reith Riley will also be working on the
east side of Michigan between Bartlett and Angela Boulevard replacing ramps.
Reith Riley will have a crew putting Bartlett Street back together between
Riverside and Saint Joe. Once that is reassembled Bartlett will be closed
between Saint Joe and Michigan and removals will begin. Pemberton Davis will be
doing traffic work on Michigan and Indiana removing traffic signals that have
already been bagged.
Memorial Hospital had concerns about the removals between
Saint Joe and Michigan in regards to their drive for the work trails just west
of Saint Joe.
The Water Department was concerned about deliveries to their
facility on Bartlett Street. They have a semi delivery weekly that comes from
the North and the only accesses to plant is off of Bartlett Street. Special
accommodations will be made to assist the delivery.
Utility Relocations
AEP Bob The line on riverside down the ally has been
relocated to a temporary pole. Comcast and AT& T have been informed to get
their work done down the alley.
AEP Tony was not present and could not give an update on the
Chippewa work
Nipsco Phil The work at Bartlett should be completed by
Monday.
Comcast was unable to attend.
US Signal was unable to attend

Utility Upgrade Robert Henry gave an over view of the
upcoming work and the past work at this time they are on schedule.
Nipsco gave an over view of the work in the down town area
A break was taken and the utilities and stakeholder where
allowed to leave.
Additional R/w was then discussed Reith Riley pressed to get
the Mar Main property as soon as possible so demolition can take place, since asbestos
is in the building. They also pressed to try and get the Sandra Case home
before May 21st.
After reviewing the Submittals the flowmeter is still out
for woodruff submittal 23 witch is late for due to the flowmeter. The Tesco Cabinet
single phase is still out for the Pemberton Davis #6 which is due Monday. After
further talks it was determined more help was needed to keep up with
submittals. Toy will see if he can find more help.
Reith Riley then had questions about QC/QA Concrete whether
the city will be paying bonuses per state spec. Upon further discussion. Reith
Riley will submit a new price for non QC/QA concrete and the city will
determine what it wants to do. Reith Riley will also submit a price for non
QC/QA asphalt due to the coring of the asphalt.
The revision 6 Mast arms was a concern, on how poles at intersections
can be taken away and used else wear without affecting the intersection at which
the old mast arm is removed. Corbett suggested using the poles from the intersections
that are being closed in the downtown area, after reviewing the plans the
intersections downtown are not being closed down. A meeting will be set up next
week to further discuss the phasing and used pole placement.
Reith Riley also wanted a clarification on the brick pavers
being used due to the confliction in the plans details and special provisions.
The city wants to be uniform in the details and will review the issue.
The asbestos at the Mar Main building will need to be abated.
Reith Riley will have this done as soon as the city has the property owned. A
change order will be issued to do the work.
Reith Riley voiced concerns about the sidewalk ramps
elevations not working out the plans and having the proper cross slopes and
grades.
Reith Riley also questioned the sprinkler system allotment. Since
payment is made by the Square Yard, and how will repairs be compensated for.
The City Concerns: the cameras for the down town area. The city
will purchase the cameras threw a third party as soon as Reith riley gives the
city a price. Then Reith Riley will install the newly purchased cameras.
Additional revisions forth coming at Chippewa are the
additional R/W, sidewalk, and an additional driveway to the parking lot. At the
Marion round about a loading zone will be added to Main Street in front of the apartment
buildings.
