Pemberton Davis worked from Midnight to Noon to finish the traffic signals to get them working for two way traffic. They worked on the intersections of Jefferson, Washington, Colfax and LaSalle on main Street. They removed the one way signs from sample to LaSalle on Main.

Air Marking was in and placed the last of the stop bars and turn arrows on Main Street. They then left at 10:00 to go work on Jefferson Street project. 

State Barricade opened up Colfax to Sample at 10:30 then opened Colfax to LaSalle at 11:30 once Pemberton Davis was done.

Tony was the only one onsite for Reith Riley. 

Wisco had one man working at Marion and Michigan.

No other work was preformed today.

State Barricade worked on opening up Main Street and Michigan Street from Ewing to LaSalle. Michigan was opened at around noon and Main was opened around 1:30. message Boards where placed at Main and Ewing and on Main and Ewing and Main and Sample.

Air Marking  had a crew working on the details on Michigan from Ewing to Sample, They then went to Main Street around 2:00 and Sample and placed the turn arrows. they then went to Marion on Main and worked South word. A second crew did the long line on Main Street between South and LaSalle Streets.

Reith Riley poured Concrete at LaSalle and Main on the South East Corner. They had a second crew pouring cycle track from Colfax South the the parking garage on the east side of Main. A Third Crew worked on Pouring Cycle track from Washington North on the east side to the Parking Garage.

Indiana Earth worked on removals on Saint Joe Street on the west side  between Colfax and LaSalle. A second crew worked on grading for curb on the west side of Saint Joe between Jefferson and Washington.

Woodruff finished setting structures on the west side of Saint Joe between Wayne and LaSalle. They will be back when they can finish the east side of Saint Joe.

Pemberton Davis worked on placing and removing signs on Michigan and Main Street between Sample and Ewing. They also worked on pulling wire for the light poles on the west side of Main street. They worked on trying to cut the loops at Angela. The locations that ed Gleckler had for the detector housing was incorrect and required Pemberton Davis to abandon the operation until Monday when traffic will be less.

1.       Traffic Closure Updates
A.           Bronson and South Street: South Street opened yesterday and Bronson Street will remain closed to the east of Main until November 15th.

B.           Colfax/Jefferson/Washington/Wayne: side streets will see minor delays only when work takes place on the corners. Washington will close in 2 weeks when woodruff is back in to do the structure at Washington and Main.

C.       Saint Joe: Saint Joe will remain 1 lane until November 15th and the side                           streets will see delays of 20min while concrete curb is being poured next week.
                                               
C.           Michigan and Main will open today from Sample to Ewing and Main Street will open tomorrow from Sample to Marion for two-way traffic.
Utility Relocation Issues:
AEP:  

Robert Henry:  Robert Henry and AEP will be redoing the schedule for Michigan Street from Washington to Western. They will work from the North to the South. Trying to work on Washington while it is closed with JMS. The intersection of Monroe and Main will need to be worked on that time is yet to be determined.

                AT&T:     The Main hole in the parking Stall between Colfax and Washington was determined to be an old Steam vault. The casting will be removed and the vault filled in with flowfill.

Water Dept:     The water department needs to adjust some valves at the intersection Jefferson Wayne and LaSalle on Saint Joe. A meeting on sight Monday will be held to review the traffic control. The water dept. would also like a no left turn be placed at the office at Colfax and Main St. Drive up window.

Transpo:   Wants to make sure the timings on the signals at South and Bronson on Michigan is being addressed.

Action Items
               
1           Upcoming work for the week: continue to work on the crossings and cycle track on Main Street. Start prepping for blocks and pavers between the curb and cycle track. Continue to work on the traffic and street lighting on Main Street. Pour curb on Saint Joe. Start milling and paving on the 24th on Michigan from LaSalle working north. Finish up the cross walks and side walk at Chippewa.

2           Cross Walks/completed on Main: Reith riley will try to complete the cross walk on Main Street and they Maintain cross walks on Saint Joe.

3           Signs/ status/speed limit Change order: Pemberton davis will remove signage and place new signs on the opened portions as quickly as possible.
       
4           Light pole footer claim /change order: The claim will be reviewed and responded to in writing at the first of next week. No penalties will be enforced due to the lighting not being completed as long as Pemberton Davis continues to work on it and it is completed as soon as possible.

5           Oct. 15 expectations and penalties: Stop bars, turn arrows, lane lines, Cross walks and traffic signals on Main St. with the exception of Bronson are all up and functioning. No penalties will be enforced on Main Street obligations have been met.

6           Strain Poles and cabinets due in: Division A is expecting the Cabinets in around November 1. Division B Pemberton Davis is expecting the Strain poles and cabinets in the second week of November. A meeting will take place one day next week to look at the constructability of the LaSalle and Michigan Corner and keep traffic signals working. I will forward on a signed copy of the change order to Reith Riley and Martell.

7           Next meeting every other week: The next Progress Meeting will be held in two weeks on a trial bases.

Reith riley would like to get portions of the contract substantially complete before winter and give them back to the City.

City Concerns/Questions:

Need to look at the ped head at Main and Ewing pole appears in the way.                             
Make sure stripping on side streets is placed correctly (Jefferson is incorrect)

Reith Riley Had a Concrete crew working on the South east Corner of Washington and Main. They had a second crew working on the south half of the Library drive. A third crew worked on the North west corner of  Main and Wayne, that same crew worked on the north east corner of Wayne and Main.

Reith Riley had a prep crew finish the Pave drain on the East side of Main Street. They then worked on cleaning up the downtown area. a second crew worked on clean up and fixing temporary crosswalks on Saint Joe Street.

Pemberton Davis worked on setting light poles on the west side of Main from Colfax to Wayne. They also worked on getting lighting up and running on Michigan between ewing and Sample. 

Indiana earth worked on removals on Michigan from Wayne to LaSalle on the West side of Saint Joe. They had two crews working on this 

Air Marking worked on the Epoxy paint between Bronson and South Street. They had a second crew working on the detail work from Ewing to Sample on Michigan and Main. A third crew worked on the layout of the down town area. 

Woodruff worked on structures on Saint Joe Street between Wayne and LaSalle on the west side.

Reith riley had a Paving crew pull the approaches on Main Street west side Western and Monroe east side Monroe, Western, Wayne, Jefferson and Colfax. They also fog sealed Main Street.

Reith Riley had a prep crew working on grading out for he Pave Drain on the east side of Main from Wayne to Western. The second crew worked on placing pave drain on the east side of Main from Jefferson to Wayne.

Reith Riley had a Concrete crew working on the North east corner of Main and Washington. They had a second crew working on the North west corner of Jefferson and Main. A third crew worked on the South west corner of Wayne and Main. 

Pemberton Davis worked on the poles at Washington and Main. They also had a crew working on setting light poles on the west side of Main from LaSalle to Washington.

Indiana Earth worked on grading out From  Colfax to LaSalle on the east side of Saint Joe. they also worked on removing the asphalt for the islands on Saint Joe.

Woodruff worked on setting structures between Washington and Colfax on the west side of Saint Joe.

Air Marking had a crew doing layout on Main street from LaSalle to South Street. they had a second crew working on epoxy painting from Bronson to South Street on Main Street. A third crew finished the long line on Michigan from Ewing to Sample. A Fourth crew worked on detail work from Sample to Ewing on Main and on Michigan.

Did not have Wisco or Slussers on site today

Reith Riley had an Asphalt crew paving Main Street from LaSalle to South street on the North Bound Lane. They then started paving intersections going from the North to the South. A second crew worked on patching the curb line on the east side of Main from Jefferson to Wayne street. they then went down and patched the corners of Main and Indiana.

Reith Riley had a concrete crew working on the South west corner of Main and Washington and a crew on the north west corner of Main and Jefferson. They worked on the South East corner of Main and Colfax. And the worked on the south west corner of Main and Wayne. 

 Pemberton Davis Activated Hawk Signal and took the poles down at Broadway and Michigan. and worked on the foundations on the west side of Main Street from LaSalle to Wayne.

Indiana Earth worked on Saint Joe saw cutting and removing the islands on Saint Joe Street from Jefferson to Colfax. They also did miscellaneous work on Main.

Air Marking was in and epoxy painted the North Shore Bridge and Main Street between Bronson and South Street. They also had a detail crew working on Main Street from Sample to Ewing. They had a crew doing layout work on Michigan from Ewing to Sample and a Long Line crew placing the yellow on Michigan from Sample to Ewing.

Wisco worked on the west side of Main Street between Marion and Madison.

Woodruff worked on placing structures on Saint Joe. Street between Jefferson an Colfax on the west side of the street,

Reith Riley had a crew paving Main street from South Street to LaSalle. They also paved the approach on the east side of Main at Wayne.

They had a concrete crew working at the intersection of South Street and Main. They had another concrete crew working at the intersection of Main and Colfax east side North and South. A third crew worked on curb work on the east side of main on Washington Street.

Reith Riley had a prep crew placing pave drain on Main Street from Colfax to Wayne on the east side. A second crew worked on prepping for bicycle track from Jefferson to main on the east side. 

Indiana East worked on removals on the west side of Saint Joe between Washington and Colfax. A second crew worked on prepping on the east side of main between Western and Wayne . 

Pemberton Davis worked at the intersection of Colfax and main on the east side and Jefferson and main on the west side. Over night they removed the mono tube between LaSalle and Colfax on Main. They moved poles off of Saint Joe to Main Street and Colfax and Jefferson.

Slussers worked on placing mulch at the Marion and Bartlett roundabout. They also worked on prepping for sod on the South East and North East quad of Bartlett.

Air Marking worked on laying out traffic Markings on Michigan between Ewing and Sample.

Wisco worked on the irrigation on the west side of Main between Marion and Madison.

Woodruff worked on placing structures between Washington and Wayne on the west side of Saint Joe.

Reith riley had a concrete crew pouring sidewalk at Bronson east of Main. A second concrete crew worked on pouring header curb between Wayne and western on the east side of Main. A third crew poured curb on the North East and south East corners of Main and Western.

Reith Riley had a prep crew placing pave drain between Colfax and Washington on the east side of Main. A second crew worked on prepping the asphalt surface om Main from LaSalle to Wayne.

Pemberton Davis worked on placing conduit on the east side of Main from Western to Jefferson.

CE Hueghs is working on milling Main Street from LaSalle to Wayne on the east side.

The color run took place today. it started at 9:00 am and was completed at around 10:40 am. The only issues with the run was due to all the cross streets being closed it caused added traffic on Main Street.
