Reith Riley had a 3 man crew working on replacing the tile on the building at Western and Main

Pemberton Davis had a 2 man crew painting Mast Arms at Monroe and Main Street and Navarre and Michigan.

Pemberton Davis had a 2 man crew working at LaSalle and Lafayette pushing conduit under the road.

Pemberton Davis had a man working on the cameras at Colfax and Michigan.

Wisco had a 4 man crew working on irrigation throughtout the project.

1.       Rieth Riley –will be in Monday to finish concrete work, Wednesday and Thursday to do clean up. Slusser will be in Tuesday to work on punch list items. Wisco will continue to work on the sprinklers

2.       Pemberton Davis- will have the poles painted by the end of today and finish the touch up work next week. Lafayette and LaSalle done by Monday. MLK is done work on Main Street loops and cross walks next week.

4. Tree grate and Brick Storage- Tree grates will go to Calvert Street, street department yard, bricks will stay at main and South street lot
5. Traffic accidents (need cost) Josh will get the cost for the noninsured ones.

Reith Riley had a crew on site cleaning up blankets and pallets and bricks. A second crew worked on saw cutting brick on the east side of Main Street down by the library. They also worked on cleaning drains that where plugged due to the milling operation.

Pemberton Davis was not on site today.

State Barricade picked up more barrels and did general clean up.

Reith Riley had a concrete crew work on pouring the North East and South west corner of Michigan and western. A second crew worked on miscellaneous pours through out the job all the way to Angela. 

Reith Riley had a brick cutting crew working on the west side of main from Wayne to Western. a stone crew worked the east side of main between Jefferson to Washington. A brick laying crew worked the east side of Main from Jefferson to Washington.

Indiana earth worked on cutting out from LaSalle to Madison on the east side of Michigan for brick. They then cleaned up South of LaSalle on Saint Joe on the east side.

Slussers placed sod on Main Street from Madison to LaSalle on the east and west side. They then worked on Michigan from LaSalle to Marion on the east and west side of the road.

Pemberton Davis poured the foundations on the east side of Saint Joe at Jefferson. They also worked on the conduit at western and Main South west corner.

Air Marking was on site and did removals at western and Main on Lafayette and LaSalle they also did removals on sample east of Main.

1.       Traffic Closure Updates: Crews will just be closing a lane where they are working and putting out barrels to direct traffic around them. Pemberton Davis will be closing Washington Street when they do signal work there for safety.

Utility Relocation Issues:
AEP:   Was not at the meeting

Robert Henry: Was not at the meeting
1.       Michigan St. will be open by 4pm today for the weekend and will close again on Monday.
2.       Vault at Main and Washington S/E  Corner

NIPSCO/InfraSource:   Was not at the meeting

Water Dept:   Had questions about snow removal at their office on Main and Colfax. Everything should be fine, and they were asked to keep the salt use to a minimum

Transpo:    Asked about light timing, which will be an ongoing process and when the traffic signal at Michigan and South street will be in. Hopefully by Christmas.
               
Metronet:  Was not at the meetin
 1.  WIFI  on Saint Joe and Main. Nothing has been done with this yet.
                 

Utilities Q/A:  Grinding and striping was brought up on Sample St. which should be happening today. 311 also asked about left turn lanes on Sample to turn onto Michigan and Main streets. This has to happen through INDOT though because it is a state highway.

INDOT: Questions:   

Stakeholder Questions: The signs on Michigan by Angela heading south that say the road is open to the hospital can now come down. The hospital asked when the railings for the stairs and gate for dumpster pad are going in. Measurements have been taken and they are being fabricated off site. The no parking signs on Bartlett are to be put back up. The hospital also wanted to know when the striping for the parking garage entrance will be done, which may not happen until spring. They also asked to check if the project has outlets going in next to the trees for Christmas lights.

1             Upcoming work for the week: Brick pavers on Main St. and curb ramps on St Joe/Michigan. Pemberton Davis will be working on traffic signals.
2             Western and Main South West Corner: Will start on Monday, should be done by Wednesday
3             Scheduled \opening
     A. Traffic Signals Jefferson\Washington: Beginning work on Jefferson on Wednesday, and Washington right after that. They will be closing Washington between Michigan and St. Joe while working on the intersection.
     B. Markings: Trying to get in the most important ones before winter.
4             Chippewa walk trough/ Traffic signal work: The walk through will be Wednesday Dec. 7th from 1-3pm. Meeting in the Palmer funeral home parking lot
5             Snow Flags have been ordered and are at the border waiting to come through customs.
6             Main Street Bridge lighting: Pemberton Davis will have a quote in today and once it is approved will order the lights and install them as soon as they come in. One to two day project, and will have a separate service crew installing them.
7             Getting ready for Winter/expectations
A.      Cross walks: Hope to have one concrete one in at each intersection. Will keep working on them and temporarily fill with stone any that don’t get poured before winter.
B.      Clean Man Holes: On the list of things to do
C.      Temp Tape removal on the list of things to do
D.      Behind curb drop-offs
E.       Signs on 31 will be taken care of. Didn’t take them down this week because of concerns of getting stuck in the ditch with how rainy it has been.
       
Reith Riley Construction Concerns/Questions: Will need access to the area in front of the Chase tower and the new Marriott hotel by May 1st in order to complete everything by June 1st

City Concerns/Questions:  Made sure that Pemberton Davis will work on getting street lights up on one side of St. Joe before finishing the second side of Main St.

Reith Riley had a concrete crew finish the cycle track on the east side of Main Street between Wayne and western . A Second crew worked on the South East corner of Wayne and Main. A third crew worked on the the parking stall on the east side of Michigan between LaSalle and Madison.

Reith Riley had two prep crews working on the east side of Main Street placing stone for the bricks that go between the sidewalk and curb. 

Reith Riley had a milling crew come in and start milling around casting and valve boxes on the east side of Saint Joe between LaSalle and Western

Woodruff had a crew placing structures on the east side of Saint Joe between Jefferson and Washington.

Indiana Earth had 2 crews working on removals on the east side of Saint Joe one crew worked between Colfax and Washington and the second between Jefferson and Wayne.

Pemberton Davis worked on setting the foundations for the strain poles at the corner of LaSalle and Saint Joe Street. 

Slussers was in and planting trees on Bartlett street from Main to Michigan.

Wisco had guys working on the south east corner of Marion and Michigan.

Stakeholder Questions: Handrail to steps by hospital should happen in the next week. Water preventers need to have covers put on them. Barricades in the parking lot will be removed today. Larry would like a set of landscape plans for Bartlett. Reith Riley will work on getting A-1 to stripe the parking lots.

Main Street Row: did not show but was determined they need to wait until the brick is placed next week.

1             Upcoming work for the week: continue to work on Main street placing brick between the curb and cycle track. Work on sidewalk as available and work on street lighting. Work on stripping the side streets. On Saint Joe finish drainage structures, place the curb on the east side and resurface the east side. Continue landscaping to the north.

2             Western And Main South West Corner: Roger will get with Structure point.

3             Scheduled \opening
     A. Traffic Signals Poles come in on the seventh Colfax and LaSalle can be done by the 15th.
     B. Markings: continue to work this week.

4             Saigon Parking lot fence: Toy should have the fence ordered next week.

5             Main Street Bridge lighting: Tanner will get pricing next week

6             Getting ready for Winter/expectations: work as long as they can until they have to cover the concrete.

The extra pave drain mats will be sent to organic resources.
Guardrail at the bridge a decision is still pending.

City Concerns/Questions: It was decided to open Saint Joe to two way traffic on Nov 23rd  due to the strain poles coming in so late and it would allow for the side streets of Jefferson and Washington to be completed

Reith riley had a 2 crews working on side walk from Washington to LaSalle on the West side of Saint Joe street. A third crew worked on the curb at the South West corner of LaSalle and Michigan.

Reith Riley had a prep crew working on patching back the Curb line from Colfax to LaSalle on the west side. They also patched back the corner of Jefferson and saint Joe and the drive to the Morris. A Second crew worked on placing cycle track Pavers on Michigan from Marion to Madison on the east side of the road. A third prep crew worked on Saint Joe between LaSalle and Colfax grading for side walk.

Wisco was on site working on Michigan from Marion to Madison. 

Slussers was on site preping for sod on Main street between Marion and LaSalle on the west side of the road.

Indiana earth was placing 53 stone on the west side of Main between LaSalle and Jefferson between the sidewalk and curb for the brick pavers. They also worked on Saint Joe grading out west side for side walk.

Pemberton Davis worked on placing conduit on the east side of Main street for the lighting the worked between Colfax and Washington and Wayne and western. They also dug footers for light basins in the same area.

1.       Traffic Closure Updates
A.       Colfax/Jefferson/Washington/Wayne: Washington will be closed Monday between Main and Michigan for sewer work should be take 3 days.
                                        B.       Saint Joe : Wendseday traffic will be switched to the west side of Saint Joe from the east side. Side streets on Saint Joe will see delays as paving the intersections take place from Bronson to Colfax.


Utility Relocation Issues:

Robert Henry: 
1.       Status at Monroe: work should be completed at Monroe and on Monday and Patched back on Tuesday. Surface will be a couple of days later.
2.       Washington and other side streets that need to be striped. Robert Henry still has work to do on Washington a little on Jefferson and on Michigan from Colfax to Wayne. Robert Henry will move off Jefferson next week to allow for the Sewer work and will work on Michigan between Colfax and Washington starting at the north working south.

NIPSCO/InfraSource:   Restoration is the only work left Leighton Plaza brickwork can now get underway since the bike path is in.
            
Comcast:  No one at meeting

Water Dept:  No one at meeting   

Transpo:     When traffic switches to the west side of Saint next week. Temporary bus stop signs need to be placed at the saint Joe Tower along with a temporary sign that sys yield to buses. The century center was talked about as a possible bus stop also, I received an email later in the day and the century center will not be used.  
               
Metronet:   Metronet will get with Pemberton Davis on reconnecting the WIFI on Main Street to see what poles are available. The Hand hole at Jefferson and Saint Joe has been lowered.

Action Items
               
1             Upcoming work for the week: finish paving the west side of Saint Joe, and start demoing the east side of Saint Joe. Work on placing the stone between the curb and side walk, Continue to pour concrete crosswalks as they become available. Pemberton Davis will work on foundations and conduit on Main and on the west side of Saint Joe.

2             Western And Main South West Corner: Is under redesign we will minimize the work at that intersect until we have further direction.

3             Water line patch on Main at Monroe: This patch will be done when the Robert Henry work is done. The North bound lane will be milled out to center line from south of the Leak to just north of Monroe Street. Get the Striping grooved that will be damaged.
  
4             Strain Poles and cabinets due in; November 7th.
                                                               i.      Schedule please: Reith Riley and Pemberton Davis will work on it.
                                                              ii.      Schedule for Bronson for Rail Road; Pemberton Davis will get a work plan
                                                            iii.      Angela status: will be completed next week, North Shore done Wednesday.

5             LaSalle and Saint Joe South east corner: will need a temporary foundation and pole placed in order to do the roadwork.

6            Colfax and Main North West corner: the strain poles will need to be set at LaSalle and Colfax first in order to get the roadwork done by the 15th. In addition, Washington and Jefferson may have to go to two-way stops. This is due to the late arrival of the strain Poles


7            Saigon Parking lot: Reith riley will get it on the schedule for next week

8             Parking lot between Jefferson and Wayne: Will work on it when they do Saigon

9             Striping the side streets: we want to move forward with restriping all the side streets this year.

10         Cross traffic does not stop signs: have been ordered and will be placed as soon as they are in.

11         Guardrail Status: It is on hold Structure point is working on it with the railroad.

12         Next meeting every other week: Meet on the 4th due to the upcoming holidays.
