1. Rieth Riley: Wisco will be on site finishing repair work on irrigation they should be done in 2 weeks. Airmarking has miscellaneous epoxy and thermos work to do once the pave drain is resolved. Slussers will be in next week and try to finish punch list items.

                                2. Pemberton Davis: will be working at Lafayette and LaSalle Monday and Tuesday. They will finish any wiring neede done. They will work on the Cabinets that need rewired.

Larry will wait a couple more weeks before placing locks on backflow preventers.
I will walk the north section next week to review what needs fixed from the punch list.

Action Items  

1.       Pave drain: I will call and talk to Steve Benzick from INDOT to discuss the repair limitations as to what is acceptable and what is not. Rieth Riley will have a crew available possibly the 19th or the 26th to get the work done. Once the fix is agreed upon.

2.       Chase Tower: has moved the barrio and now pemberton Davis can get in and do the work on that corner to get the signal operational.

3.       Irrigation, Double Tree, Burger King: Wisco should have this work done in2 weeks.

4.       Tree grate and Brick Storage 7 tree grates will need to be stored and 65 pallets of brick once the City figures out where they want them placed.

5.       Traffic accidents: that have no insurance will be paid through the contract, the city insurance has too big of a deductible.

6.       Parking stalls Wayne Street Michigan to Main utility work is completed in this area and can now be striped

7. Weekly Progress meetings: keep having them until the pave drain is resolved.

The City would like to know if white bike emblems can be added to the green cross walk areas.

June 21st Main Street will be closed from 10:00am to 12:00 pm to dedicate the MLK Statue at the Leighton Plaza

The tentative date for the ribbon cutting will be June 16 at the Century Center.

I need to look into the stop sign installed at the corner of MLK and Wayne street North east.

Rain moved in at 11:30

Reith Riley had a 3 man crew staining concrete drives for the bike path. They had a 3 man crew route and sealing cracks. They had a 3 man crew doing miscellaneous concrete.

Reith Riley had a 9 man crew sanding and adjusting brick on Main Street.

Reith Riley had a 3 man crew working on punch list items and cleaning up North of LaSalle

Wisco had a 4 man crew working on MLK 

Pemberton Davis had a 4 man crew cutting loops on Main Street and Western

Pemberton Davis had a 3 man crew working on outlet at Bartlett and Michigan.

Pemberton Davis had a 5 man crew working on Detector Housings at Sample and Michigan. 

Airmarking had a 2 man crew finish the green thermo and worked on the bike symbols.

1.       Rieth Riley will finish the miscellaneous items that they have Bike Racks, water fountain, benches, Trashcans. They will begin to work on the punch list, Stain the concrete and do general clean up. Airmarking will be in to work on stripping. Slussers will work on sod and mulch. Wisco will work on finishing the irrigation.

2.       Pemberton Davis will finish the Receps by the hospital. They will have the rest of the loops and detector housings placed. They will be working on signs. They will continue to paint mastarms

Action Items  
1.       Thermo detection Change order- Reith Riley still wants full extension or they can deliver the material as soon as it comes in.

2.       Pave drain: Rieth Riley can have the Pave Drain reset work done next week if the City wants to pay the time and material to fix otherwise this can go to the punch list and discussed further on who is responsible. Rieth Riley will pay for an independent 3rd party to investigate the integrity of the design and the integrity of the installation of the pave drain.

3.       Chase Tower: Rieth Riley cannot commit to getting this done the longer this goes without a decision

Reith Riley had and 8 man concrete crew working at the South West intersection of Washington and MlK
They then went to the South West corner of Main and Western.

Reith Riley had a 6 man brick crew working on the west side of MLK from Colfax to Washington

Air Marking had a detail crew working on the bike path from Wayne Street to Marion on the East side of MLK.They had a second 3 man crew working on cross walks at Wayne and MLK and Western and MLK

Pemberton Davis had a 7 man crew woking at the intersection of Indiana and Main hooking up the electric.
They then went to work on placing conduit at Monroe and Michigan

The Weeks up Coming Events/Schedule
1.       Rieth Riley Plans on closing Main St. between South and Bronson Street on May 15 to do the guardrail and concrete work in that area. They will continue to work on brick and miscellaneous concrete work, bike racks, benches, etc. They wil place the surface on the parking lot north of McDonalds,  Air Marking will continue to work on Markings, Indiana earth will work on topsoil and Slusser will be in working on landscape.

2.       Pemberton Davis: will work on Detector houses on Main Street from Madison to Colfax. The loop cutting will resume later in the week and the painting of mast arms will continue on Main Street working north to south. They will be placing the under the bridges for the railroad.

1.       Power at Western and Michigan AEP was not at the meeting.

Action Items  
1.       Guardrail Change order Will be processed with no time extension language since the work will be completed before June

2.       Thermo detection Change order: Materials are not expected until mid-June. The City either will by the materials or consider doing the time extension at the end of May.

3.       Pave drain: Rieth Riley was expecting only one option from Structure Point, which was to come from D2, but was provided four. The City is expecting Reith Riley get with D2 to come up with a solution

4.       Chase Tower: The City would like to have the ramps poured and the traffic signal work done on that corner. This is all dependent on when the space will be available

5.       Signs: need to be installed for the railroad and other places, this should start next week. The bike path signs we not have the city logo placed on them.

6.       EM-net (sewer) at LaSalle and MLK: Josh will set up a meeting to find out exactly what needs to be done

City Concerns/Questions: The list below are items that will be on the punch list.
1.       Seal cracks
2.       Banner arms
3.       Puddles
4.       Low brick areas(bike Path)
5.       Sand in some brick areas
6.       Fill in under Mast arms

Fiddlers needs to have 4 bike racks placed just south of the building.
Another Stain color for the bike path needs to be picked out.
The drains on main street need to be cleaned out especially the one south of Colfax on the east side of Main street.
The bump just north of north shore at 933 Michigan needs addressed.
The sidewalk at the church just north of LaSalle on Main Street will need to be changed out to a ramp.
Toy will need to get Main Street row blocks fixed due to the damage by construction.

Reith Riley had a 5 man concrete crew working on the North west and South West corner of Western and Michigan.

Reith Riley had another 5 man concrete crew working on the North East corner of Jefferson and MLK.

Reith Riley had a 3 man prep crew working on the South East corner of MLK and Washington. They then moved on to cleaning up the MLK Area.

Reith Riley had a 5 man brick crew placing brick on MLK from Jefferson to LaSalle on the east side of the road.

Air marking was a no show.

Indiana earth was not on site 

Slussers had a 3 man crew planting trees on Main Street in various locations.

Pemberton Davis had a 7 man crew working on the South West corner of Colfax and Michigan placing a tesco foundation. They also placed DHs on Monroe and Western at Main Street.

The Weeks up Coming Events/Schedule
1.       Reith Riley In the up coming week plans on finishing concrete sidewalk and cycle track. They will continue to work on Brick pavers. They will have the asphalt crew on site to button up any work and pave the parking lot north of McDonalds. Slussers will be on site working on Landscape.

2.       Pemberton Davis will start cutting loops on Monday starting at Bronson and Main Street working north. They will close down the side streets as needed to cut the loops. Tanner will meet with Toy on Monday and develop a plan. The side streets should be closed for only a couple of hour’s hat a time. They will continue to work on Michigan street traffic signals.

Utility Relocation Issues:

1.       Power at Western and Michigan- Once Phil contacts AEP this work will get scheduled
2.       Power at Monroe and Michigan Once Phil contacts AEP this work will get scheduled

                DTSB : Planters we will met on Monday and go over placement. DTSB will have the trashcans removed that were determined to be in undesired locations.

Stakeholder Questions: Memorial Hospital:

1.       Trees leaning need fixed on Bartlett
2.       Who is mowing the grass- The hospital will need to if they want it to be maintained properly.
3.       Water Valve in yard at Bartlett and Michigan needs adjusted so that it isn’t hit by the mower.
4.       Edging by dumpster needs addressed
5.       Dead trees at Bartlett and Main need repaired
6.       Sprinkler system will be turned on by Wisco and meters will have hospital locks on them


Action Items  
1.        Trash can locations: Locations of trash cans were determined this last week

2.        Cycle track Markings; have been ordered need a change order yet.

3.        Sign for Jefferson Street: the handicap parking sign needs installed ASAP.

4.        Guardrail Change order it appears the guardrail will be in next week and the work will start mid-May and be completed before the first of June.

5.        Thermo detection Change order: thermos detection delivery does not appear to be coming in before the 2nd week of June, and the change order is still unsigned.

6.        Pave drain: the City will have an internal meeting and this item is still not resolved

7.        Chase Tower is still under discussion

8. Walk Through – for the area North of LaSalle will be held Thursday May 11 at 1 pm
